September, 2016, Rising Women, an ongoing therapy group for women incorporating the collected works of Dr. Brené Brown. Facilitated by Sharon Skelton, LMFT, this group meets twice a month in Midtown Sacramento on Tuesday evenings from 5:40-7:00. $50 each session. Workshops led by Certified Daring Way™ Facilitators
The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was developed to help men, woman and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen and live braver lives. The primary focus in on developing shame resilience skills and developing a courage practice that transforms the way we live, parent and lead. It can be facilitated in clinical, education and professional settings and is suitable for work with individual, couples, family, work teams and organizational leaders. About Brené Brown
The Daring Way™ method is based on the research of Brené Brown, PhD. LMSW. Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past twelve years studying vulnerability, courage, worthiness and shame.
